Cabernet sauvignon, lodi, 2023

Located directly east of San Francisco at the edge of the Sacramento River Delta, the Lodi appellation is noted for its classic Mediterranean climate and distinct sandy soils. Due to its location next to the Sacramento River Delta, Lodi receives cool coastal breezes which cool down the region at night. When combined with sunny days, this leads to a long growing season perfect for wines that thrive in warmer weather.

tasting notes

• Rich, juicy black fruit flavors: blackberry, black cherry with a hint of caramel and vanilla.
• The mouth explodes with flavors of blackberry jam, coffee, and caramel and has a slight hint of earth before the long finish accented by plush tannins.
